This year, JICI, and its partners included in Team JICI, will make the holiday season a little warmer for 100 area active-duty military families. JICI will donate $25 gift certificates redeemable at local grocery stores to help with the cost of a holiday meal.
“It is important we support our military families because they, too, are sacrificing for our country,” said Ken Wilson, president of JICI. “We admire the courage, devotion and sacrifice these families give on behalf of our county. This is a small way we can say ‘thank you’ for their commitment,” he added.
Active-duty military family members can apply for the gift certificate by visiting the JICI website at www.jici.com and completing an application form by December 18th. Following verification, the first 100 families will receive a gift certificate in time for the holidays. Eligible families must reside in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble or Steuben counties.
